Brampton Library has a wealth of knowledge to share from "in-house readers" advisory services and book clubs to online books, research databases for finding book reviews and links to other reader information sites. Looking for a great book, maybe one similar to another you've just read and enjoyed? Can't remember the author of a great book you read? Ask us for suggestions by visiting the Information Desk at any Brampton Library location, visit the NoveList online database, or check out some of the links below.

Book Club in a Bag
- Borrow a set of books for your book discussion group to use
- Loan period is 6 weeks (renewal for 3 weeks)
- Includes list of online book discussion resources
Please note: you are responsible for returning all copies of the book and the bag. Please do NOT have book club members return their copies individually.

Up for Discussion Book Clubs
Brampton Library offers three Up for Discussion book clubs at two locations.
- Tuesdays - 7 pm to 9 pm (Chinguacousy Branch)
- Wednesdays - 10 am to 12 pm (Chinguacousy Branch)
- Thursdays - 2 pm to 4 pm (Four Corners Branch)
In-house book clubs run from September through June each year, and online book discussion groups run year round. You can join in at any time. To register, visit the Information Desk at any Library location or give us a call at (905) 793-4636 or TTY 1-866-959-9994
Chapter-a-Day Online Book Club
- The Chapter-a-Day online book club delivers a chapter a day directly to your e-mail inbox. Read an excerpt from a single book each day for five days and, if you like it, check it out at the Library. With 11 genres to choose from, there's something for everyone.
- You can read fiction, non-fiction, romance, business, good news, mystery and more. You can even take advantage of audio books and a pre-publication club.
