Brampton Library offers free introductory computer workshops for Adults and Older Adults on many topics. (e.g. Computer Basics, Internet for Beginners, Word, Excel, Email, E Readers, Genealogy etc.). Workshops are currently available at the Chinguacousy , Four Corners and Cyril  Clark Branches. For specific times and topics, please refer to our calendar. Please register in person at any Brampton Library location or by phone at (905) 793- 4636.

   Computer Basics- part 2
When: May 22, 2013 - 9:00 AM - 11:00 AMWhere: South Fletcher's BranchLearn more about the Windows environment. Includes customizing your desktop, and working with folders and icons. ** Participants must have completed Computer Basics-part 1. Register by phone or in person at any library location beginning April 15.



   Internet Basics 1
When: May 23, 2013 - 2:00 PM - 4:00 PMWhere: Four Corners Branch at Computer workstationsLearn about the Internet, Internet Explorer, Subject Directories, and Search Engines. **Participants should have mouse and keyboard skills. Register by phone or in person beginning April 15 at any Library branch.



   Word Basics
When: May 23, 2013 - 7:00 PM - 8:30 PMWhere: Chinguacousy Branch (except program room) at Computer Training RoomLearn the basics of using Microsoft Word, such as formatting and using fonts. **Participants should have basic computer skills. Register starting April 15 by phone (905-793-4636) or in person at any Brampton Library location.

   E-Reader Basics
When: May 28, 2013 - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PMWhere: Cyril Clark Branch at Program RoomWant to learn how to borrow eBooks to your eReader, tablet or laptop? Bring your questions: we will show you how to find, check out and download books from our dgital collection. All you need is a valid library card. This is a great collection that you can use 24/7, which means the library is always open! Register by phone or in person at any Brampton Library location beginning April 15.
