   Shake, Rattle and Roll
When: June 20, 2013 - 10:00 AM - 11:30 AMWhere: Chinguacousy Branch - Program Room only at Program RoomFor children 18 months to 3 years. This movement and music program explores a variety of traditional and non traditional music and musical instruments. Discover the different beats and patterns of musical styles such as classical music, jazz, Caribbean, African, Asian and contemporary music, poetry and verse. Sing , dance, move and experience the musical world around us. This program is held in co-operation with Bramalea-Gore-Malton-Springdale Ontario Early Years Centre. Here, you will listen to stories and legends about Canada’s First Peoples. Free of charge. Drop-in.



   TD SUMMER READING CLUB: GO!
When: June 24, 2013 - 1:00 PM - 1:00 PMWhere: All LocationsStarting June 24, children can register for the TD Summer Reading Club at all Brampton Library locations. When you register, you will receive a book bag, activity book, stickers and a reading log. Reading books = winning prizes! Each time you read 2 books, you will receive a sticker and a ballot for a chance to win: a gift card to Chapters AND a free, one-use pass to any City of Brampton Parks and Recreation Centre. When you reach 10 books, you will receive a temporary tattoo. When you reach 20 books, you will receive your final SRC reading prize. What is the final prize? You’ll have to read to find out. Our goal is to read 50,000 books before the summer ends!Oh, we almost forgot! If you are entered into the weekly draws, then you are automatically entered into our grand prize draw for a chance to win a Nintendo DSi!
