Childrens Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that we are on land that has been cared for by the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Haudenosaunee, and the Huron-Wendat peoples for a very long time. We also want to say thank you to all the other Indigenous people who live in Brampton today. From the beginning, Indigenous nations have lived here in relationship with all the living things on the Earth, the waters, and the sky.

We believe in learning together about the histories of the people who lived here first. With gratitude, we join them in caring for the Earth and sharing stories.

We are happy to be here, and we want to keep growing, learning, and sharing.
