Digital Library and Your Privacy

Brampton Library subscribes to digital services (e-resources) provided by external vendors and third parties. The library's subscription to each digital service grants you (the user) free access with your Brampton Library card. 

The library collects a minimum amount of information to verify your access, as outlined in the Confidentiality and Security Policy (BRD-23) (PDF).

Please be aware, however, that digital services are managed by third-party providers; their policies and practices are not the same as those of Brampton Library.

Some digital services may require you to create a personal account. Device information may also be collected when using digital services or their applications. Before you choose to access these digital services, we advise that you consult the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for each, listed below.
