Brampton Library is committed to making its resources and facilities accessible to people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers as well as providing equitable library services to all residents of the Brampton community. Our goal is to ensure that services are provided in a manner that respects the dignity and independence of our customers with accessibility needs. Service animals are welcome at all locations and all branch locations are wheelchair accessible. At Four Corners, some mobility devices and wheelchairs may not fit in the public washrooms or elevator.

Temporary service disruptions
In the event of a planned service disruption to facilities, services or systems that are relied upon by persons with disabilities to access Brampton Library goods or services, notice of the disruption shall be provided in advance (i.e. elevators, TTY, Accessible Workstations). Notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated duration and a description of alternative facilities, services or systems that may be available.
Notice may be given by posting the information in a conspicuous place on library premises (i.e. on the door to the premises), on the library web site or by such other method as is reasonable under the circumstances.
In the event of an unexpected disruption, notice will be provided as soon as possible.
Availability of documents
Upon request by persons with disabilities, documents published by the Brampton Library will be made available in large print or in alternate accessible formats.

In person: Any staff member will accept feedback from a customer and will follow-up with a manager.
In writing: Comment cards are available at all branch service desks and may be given to any staff member.
