Thank you for your patience! Over the past two weeks, Brampton Library members have received their holds placed before our closure at five branches offering Curbside Pickup. I am delighted to announce that this service is now ready to expand to the placement of new holds, through our website, with your Brampton LIbrary card and PIN.

For assistance in placing holds and to review answers to other frequently asked questions, please visit How Do I...

When you place a hold, you will be prompted to select a pickup location. Five of our branch libraries, Chinguacousy, Cyril Clark, Four Corners, South West and Springdale, are now offering Curbside Pickup.

Holds placed before our closure have been rerouted for your convenience:

  • Holds for Gore Meadows have been rerouted to Chinguacousy in the Civic Centre
  • Holds for South Fletcher’s have been rerouted to Four Corners and
  • Holds for Mount Pleasant Village have been rerouted to South West Branch Library.

Curbside Pickup is offered three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:00 - 5:00 pm on a first-come, first-served basis

Please wear a mask, follow physical distancing protocols, and call the phone number on the sign when you arrive. You will be notified by your preferred method of contact when your items are available. Please note that your hold(s) will expire 7 days after the notification has been sent. At that time the items will be returned to circulation for others to enjoy.

Due to the large volume of returned items and the safety protocols now in place to protect customers and staff, delays are possible. Visit Curbside Pickup for full details on how to place holds and access the service.

Again, thank you. We look forward to seeing you at our Curbside Pickup locations soon!
