While keeping the safety of our staff and customers as our highest priority, we are pleased to offer Holds Pickup and Grab ‘n’ Go services at all branches.

Cyril Clark, Gore Meadows Mount Pleasant Village, South Fletcher’s and South West offer Curbside Pickup and Grab ‘n’ Go only.

Chinguacousy, Four Corners, and Springdale are open daily (except Sundays) for limited in-branch services.

Service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

EXPANDED CURBSIDE PICKUP SERVICE

Cyril Clark, Gore Meadows, Mount Pleasant Village, and South Fletcher’s:

Mondays and Fridays: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Wednesdays: 2:00 – 8:00 pm

South West:

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 2:00 – 5:00 pm

IN-BRANCH SERVICES AND HOURS OF OPERATION:

Chinguacousy, Four Corners, and Springdale are open for these services only:

  • In-branch holds pick up
  • Brief use of our computers for transactional purposes
  • Printing and photocopying 

Please note that in-branch study space and the use of personal devices to work or study is not available or permitted at this time. 

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays:

  • 10:00 - 11:30 am
  • 12:00 - 1:30 pm
  • 2:00 - 3:30 pm
  • 4:00 - 5:30 pm

Tuesdays and Thursdays:

  • 12:00 - 1:30 pm 
  • 2:00 - 3:30 pm
  • 4:00 - 5:30 pm
  • 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Sundays: Closed

Please note our safety protocols:

  • During our operating hours Chinguacousy, Four Corners, and Springdale close to the public every 90 minutes for 30 minutes of cleaning multi-use and high-touch areas
  • We have installed plexi-glass shields at our customer service points
  • All customers and staff must wear masks in our buildings, in compliance with the City of Brampton Mandatory Mask By-Law 135-2020
  • Everyone is asked to self-monitor for symptoms of illness
  • Do not enter a library branch if you are feeling unwell

HOW TO PLACE AND TRACK YOUR HOLDS AND RETURN YOUR ITEMS

  • You must upgrade to a full membership to place holds for pickup. If you are not able to place a hold for any reason, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for assistance
  • To place new holds, click hereYou will be asked to enter your Brampton Library card number and PIN and prompted to select your preferred location for pickup
  • When your holds are ready, you will receive an email or voicemail notification
  • Due to the volume of items being returned and the safety protocols that we have put in place to protect you and our staff, some delays may occur
  • Please return your borrowed items through the 24-hour external dropboxes at any of our branches. Our dropboxes are always open for your convenience
  • Returned items are quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours and will remain on your account during this time. Please disregard any automated notifications that you may receive regarding items that you have already returned. Overdue fines will not be charged
