Up for Discussion

Interested in joining a book club? Brampton Library offers Up for Discussion book clubs at three of our locations.

Book club members meet to discuss the book of the month and find common bonds through books. A variety of reading interests are represented in these clubs: contemporary, classic and international authors. You will read and enjoy books you would never have chosen yourself!

In-house book clubs run from September through November and February to April. Registration for the Fall session begins on July 30, 2018 and for the Winter session on January 2, 2019. To register and pick up a copy of the book, please visit any Brampton Library branch or call (905) 793-4636 or TTY 1-866-959-9994.

First or Second Monday - 1:00 pm to 3:00pm (Cyril Clark)

First Wednesday - 10 am to 12 pm (Chinguacousy)

Third Thursday - 2 pm to 4 pm (Four Corners)

PAMA Connections Book Club

Literature and visual arts connect in this unique book club.

Join our librarian for a book club discussion 3 times a year. The discussion will be paired with a tour of a Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archive exhibit.

Location: Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives, 9 Wellington Street East, Brampton.

Are you part of a book club or thinking of starting one? Check out our Off the Shelf book club-ready displays at any of our library branches!

Here you will find multiple copies of recommended titles that you can borrow in single or multiple copies, on a first come, first serve basis.

There is no need to place holds or renew, books are availabe for 3 weeks at a time.
