Brampton Brain Game

Read, play, explore, earn chances to win!

The Brampton Brain Game presents a series of challenges that are designed to encourage children to read, learn through play, and virtually explore their community: Read. Play. Explore. Participants will love the opportunity to win a variety of exciting prizes!

How It Works

• Sign up between June 1 – September 1 online at bramptonlibrary.ca. 
• Baby Brainiacs (0 – 2 years) and Junior Brainiacs (3 – 5 years) can pick up a tic-tac-toe activity sheet from any Brampton Library location during our hours of operation or complete activities with caregivers and track their child’s progress through their online account (created at registration) for chances to win prizes.
• Brainiacs (6 – 12 years) can pick up a tic-tac-toe activity sheet from any Brampton Library location during our hours of operation or earn chances to win prizes by completing challenges in three online adventures and the tic-tac-toe challenges through their online account (created at registration).
• Participate online by logging into your Brampton Brain Game account at bramptonlibrary.ca. Apple and Android users can also download the free ReadSquared app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to participate using their personal devices.

• Brainiacs (6 – 12 years): Crazy Forts Glow in the Dark kit

Weekly prize giveaways

You are automatically entered into the weekly prize giveaways as soon as you are signed up for the Brampton Brain Game.  

• Baby Brainiacs (0 – 2 years) weekly prize: one book and a Brampton Library t-shirt
• Junior Brainiacs (3 – 5 year) weekly prize: one book, a Brampton Library t-shirt, and a Brampton Library pencil
• Brainiacs (6 – 12 years) weekly prize: one book, a Brampton Library t-shirt, pencil, eraser, and Brampton Brain Game pen

Grand prizes

Baby Brainiacs (0 – 2 years)

Complete all five Baby Brainiacs (0 – 2 years) online challenges to win a board book prize! Submit your completed activity sheet to your local branch to receive your prize. Those who complete challenges online will be contacted to arrange their prize pick up.

Jr. Brainiacs (3 – 5 years)

You can earn an entry into the grand prize draw by:

• Completing at least three tic-tac-toe challenges online by September 1, 2023, or
• Completing at least three tic-tac-toe challenges on the activity sheet. Email a photo to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or drop it off in any Brampton Library location by September 1, 2023.
• Earn a second ballot into a grand prize draw by completing six tic-tac-toe challenges. 
• Earn a third ballot into a grand prize draw by completing nine tic-tac-toe challenges.

READ prize: Yoto Player - kids audio player and starter pack 

PLAY prize: Kids First Automobile Engineer Kit, Kid K’Nex Budding Buildings Tub and Magformers Magnets in Motion accessory set

EXPLORE prize: Globber Primo Foldable Lights scooter, helmet, and protective gear

Brainiacs (6 – 12 years)

You can earn an entry into the grand prize draw by:

• Completing seven challenges in an online adventure (READ, PLAY, or EXPLORE) to automatically be entered into that adventure's grand prize draw. 
• Completing at least three tic-tac-toe challenges online by September 1, 2023 or
• Completing at least three tic-tac-toe challenges on the activity sheet. Email a photo to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or drop it off in any Brampton Library dropbox by September 1, 2023.
• Earn a second ballot into a grand prize draw by completing six tic-tac-toe challenges. 
• Earn a third ballot into a grand prize draw by completing nine tic-tac-toe Challenges.

6-8 year  prize draw:
