Library visits offer an opportunity to tour your local Brampton Library location and become familiar with our resources. Tours last approximately one hour and are age appropriate. Upon request from individual teachers, group leaders, etc, certain collections can be highlighted.

Library staff members are also available to visit local elementary and high schools, nursery schools, daycare centres, etc. Visits to locations within the community may last 30 minutes to an hour and are geared towards the age level of the participants. These visits involve the promotion of Library services and programs. In addition, organizers may request delivery of an abbreviated Family Storytime, a discussion of suggested titles for the age group, and/or an overview of a specific collection (including our electronic databases and ebooks!).

Those interested in organizing a Library visit are asked to call (905) 793-INFO (4636). Teachers planning a Library visit are also asked to print off copies of the Class Visit Application Form for a Library Card and the Letter to Parents/Guardians for distribution to students in advance of their visit.

Proquest offers great curriculum support through e-newsletters, read them online!
