Virtual STEM Challenges: videos and instructionals  - library card is not required to access.

TeenBookCloud: no library card required to access, no checkouts or holds, so books can be accessed simultaneously. Features classic literature and newer titles, especially hi-lo books. 

CloudLibrary: library card required to access. Thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks available for all ages. Apple and Android app available for mobile devices. (Access a video virtual tour of this resource here!)

EBSCO eBook Collection: library card required to access. Academic publications and textbooks, available online or in the Apple or Android app for mobile devices.

Learning

Access and learn more through the eLearning page

Lynda.com: library card is required. Online instructional videos taught by recognized experts in business, creative, and technology industries. 

Mango Languages: library card is required. Prepare for realistic conversation and strengthen everyday communication skills with over 70 world language courses and more than 20 ESL/ELL specialty courses. 

Researching

Gale Power Search: library card required. Reference database providing access to a collection of scholarly journals, periodicals, newspapers, and reference content. (Great for developing research skills needed in post-secondary school work)

Learning Express Library: library card and registration required. A comprehensive collection of test preparation tools, skill-building materials, and career resources.

ProQuest Historical Newspapers (Globe & Mail and Toronto Star): library card required. Archives dating from the 1890s to the mid-2010s. Great for historical research, learning about primary source materials!
