Participants of the Adult Summer Reading Club (ASRC) are invited to the “Then & Now art Challenge” held in partnership with Peel Art Gallery Museum and Archives (PAMA)!
Each Thursday from July 7th-August 25th, registered ASRC members will be emailed a historical photo of a Brampton location. Your challenge:
1. Register for the 2022 Adult Summer Reading Club and check your inbox (or spam folder) for the weekly emails.
2. Go to the location of the original, historical photo featured in that week’s email.
3. Email back an original, present-day photo, drawing, sketch, painting, collage, or other artistic capturing of the same location by the following Monday.
It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
Each capturing submitted will earn you an extra ballot into the bi-weekly prize draw. What’s more, the best photo of the week will earn an extra ballot into the top grand prize draw and will be featured on our social media channels later that week!
So get your pencils sharpened, your paint brushes in hand, those old-timey cameras loaded or smartphones charged for this blast from the past.
