Explore books on climate change, sustainability, and environmental justice with Brampton Library and the Community Climate Council. Together, we’ll deepen our understanding of global challenges and learn how we can take action toward a sustainable future.
Our Climate Book Club takes place in person at our South Fletcher's library branch.
In collaboration with the Hindi Writers Guild, our book club offers a vibrant platform for literary enthusiasts to discuss books written by famous authors, recite poetry and ghazals, and read stories in Hindi. Join engaging discussions about celebrated works by renowned Hindi authors, exploring their themes, characters, and enduring impact.
Beyond traditional book discussions, our gatherings also provide a welcoming space for members to recite captivating poetry and soul-stirring ghazals, showcasing the rich lyrical tradition of Hindi literature. Furthermore, we enjoy the art of storytelling, with members reading aloud compelling short stories in Hindi, fostering a deeper appreciation for the language's narrative power.
