Playing memory games is a good boredom buster for the whole family! A great indoor game, these giant matching cards are thick and sturdy and feature colourful photos of everyday objects. Take turns flipping cards over and use your memory to make matching pairs.
Game Setup
This game is great for indoor and outdoor play. All you need is a flat surface such as concrete, bare ground or grass.
This kit comes with 48 cards, each about the size of a sheet of paper, so you’ll need to make sure you have enough space to lay them out. Lay out the cards in random order, preferably in even rows. The images should be facing down on the ground, and the patterned side should be facing up towards you. If you’re playing with younger kids, you can choose to only lay out 16 tiles (using 8 symbols) for a smaller and easier game.
How to Play
The object of the game is to use your memory to find matching cards. Players turn over two cards and, if the photos on the cards match, they get to keep them. If the photos do not match, the cards get turned back over. Players must then remember which card is which to improve their chances of winning. The player that finds the most matches, wins!
Giant Matching Cards is a game best enjoyed with 2 players. The more players you have, the quicker the game will finish. You can play competitively, or work together to find matching pairs.

How long can I keep this kit?
You can borrow giant matching cards for 7 days. Please keep in mind that we are unable to provide loan renewals or extensions for this kit. We appreciate your cooperation in returning this kit in a timely manner.

Giant matching cards can be returned during operational hours to Chinguacousy branch library. You will need to return this kit in person to library staff at the customer service desk.
