I am pleased to share that we are preparing to introduce a contactless curbside pickup service at select Brampton Library locations. We look forward to adding this service enhancement as soon as it is possible to do so safely, while our branches remain closed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As we prepare for the introduction of curbside service, in consultation with the City of Brampton and Peel Public Health, the health and safety of our staff and customers is our top priority. While we are not yet able to announce when our contactless curbside pickup service will start, we will continue to provide updates here on our website, via social media and through email updates.

In the initial stage of this service, we will be offering pickup of materials that you reserved by placing them on hold prior to our closure on March 16. If you have reserved items, staff will contact you by phone to arrange the pickup date, time and location for these items. Thank you for your patience, as this process will take some time.

As always, I invite you to explore our Digital Library, for all the latest eBooks and eAudioBooks, eLearning, streaming music, movies, tv, and much more.

Let’s stay connected here on our blog and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. To reach out to me directly, email chieflib@bramlib.on.ca and to subscribe to our email updates, click here. For the latest information about COVID-19, click here.

    Curbside Coming Soon

On Wednesday, June 24 Mayor Brown announced some reopenings in Brampton, including our plan to launch contactless Curbside Pickup of Library materials. Please know that our phased return to full service emphasizes the safety of our staff and customers as our highest priority. Our library branches will remain closed to the public until further notice.

Next week, our staff who have been working remotely will return to work on site, to prepare to launch our contactless Curbside Pickup service at select Library locations.  They will be contacting customers about items placed on hold prior to our closure. On behalf of Brampton Library board members and staff, we can’t wait to offer phased library service, safely.

For all the latest eBooks and eAudioBooks, eLearning, streaming music, movies, television, and much more, head to our Digital Library.
